Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, paid a visit to Baba Ahmed University, Kano on 25th September 2024. During the visit, Prof. Garba expressed his delight in being at the university, noting that both institutions received their operating licenses at the same time. He emphasized that while the two universities already share a relationship, KHAIRUN is eager to formalize this partnership to initiate beneficial activities.
Prof. Garba further outlined potential areas of collaboration, particularly in research and seminars, which would greatly benefit students, staff, and the broader community.
In response, the Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ahmed University, Prof. Adamu Idris Tanko expressed his deep appreciation for the visit and pledged to elevate the partnership between the two institutions. He assured the KHAIRUN delegation that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be developed to formalize the collaboration, actively nurturing a mutually beneficial relationship for both universities.
This visit marks another step in KHAIRUN’s commitment to build impactful collaborations in the education sector.
