Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), celebrated its first-ever matriculation ceremony on Thursday, 12th September 2024, marking the official welcoming of its pioneer students. Both staff and students were excited to begin this new chapter, which promises a rewarding academic journey.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba expressed the management’s delight in officiating the matriculation for the university’s first cohort. He praised the legacy of the late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu for his contributions to propagating the religion of Islam. The VC urged the students to stay focused in their studies and maintain high moral standards and dedication; enabling them to serve as good ambassadors of KHAIRUN. He reassured them that they were in capable hands, with both management and staff dedicated to ensuring their academic success.

The Registrar, Malam Yusuf Datti, administered the matriculation oath, which outlined the students’ commitment to upholding the university’s values and principles.

The historic event was a significant milestone for KHAIRUN as it continues to build its academic community.
