Khairun

In a demonstration of compassion and commitment to community service, students of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), paid a charitable visit to Nassarawa orphanage home earlier today, Friday 30th May, 2025. The visit reflects the university’s dedication to instilling values of empathy, social responsibility, and active citizenship among its students.

The outreach was organized as part of KHAIRUN’s ongoing efforts to support underprivileged members of the society and promote a culture of giving. During the visit, the students donated essential items, spent quality time with the children, and shared moments of joy and encouragement.

Speaking during the visit, the students emphasized that the initiative was inspired by a desire to give back to the community and uplift vulnerable groups. “As future leaders, we believe it is our duty to contribute positively to society, and this visit is just one way we can make a difference,” the student noted.

The management of the orphanage expressed deep appreciation for the thoughtful gesture and commended KHAIRUN students for their kindness and solidarity.

This initiative aligns with KHAIRUN’s broader mission of academic excellence blended with moral and social development while preparing its students not only for professional success but for meaningful impact in their communities.
