As part of its continued commitment to academic quality and regulatory compliance, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) hosted a delegation from the Radiography Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) from 26th to 27th May 2025.
The visit, initiated at the request of KHAIRUN management, was aimed at seeking expert guidance and assessment from the board to further strengthen the delivery of the university’s ongoing Radiography programme.

Speaking during the visit, the leader of the RRBN delegation, Prof. Mark C. Okeji, commended KHAIRUN for its proactive engagement, stating that the university’s request signaled a strong desire to get things right. He emphasized the importance of laying a solid foundation in Radiography, especially as the discipline continues to grow nationally.
After touring the facilities and interacting with academic units, the RRBN team praised the standard of infrastructure already in place. The delegation also offered professional recommendations for areas that could be further improved to meet optimal standards.

In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, expressed gratitude for the RRBN’s support and reaffirmed KHAIRUN’s resolve to continuously enhance its programmes. He assured the delegation that all recommendations would be addressed promptly in line with the university’s dedication to excellence and compliance with regulatory expectations.
This engagement reflects KHAIRUN’s broader mission of providing top-tier education in health sciences and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
