Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) earlier today, 5th May, 2025, hosted a delegation from the International University of Africa, Sudan, on a courtesy visit aimed at exploring avenues for academic collaboration. The delegation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hatim Usman Muhd Ahmed, who expressed his delight at visiting KHAIRUN and proposed a mutually beneficial partnership between the two institutions in areas of curriculum development, staff training and exchange, research and publications, among others.
Welcoming the guests, KHAIRUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, commended the initiative and expressed strong interest in the proposed collaboration. He highlighted some of KHAIRUN’s core academic strengths, including Qur’anic recitation and memorization courses, morality classes, and a robust entrepreneurship curriculum — all of which have positively shaped the students’ experience.
Prof. Garba assured the visiting delegation that KHAIRUN is ready to take the necessary steps toward formalizing the partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reinforcing the university’s commitment to global academic exchange and excellence.
