As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing teaching excellence, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano, (KHAIRUN), welcomed a delegation from Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) for a two-day advisory visit beginning on 5th May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit, initiated at the request of KHAIRUN management, aimed to seek expert guidance from COREN on the development and strengthening of the university\u2019s engineering programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading the COREN delegation, Engr. Prof. Baba El-Yakub, commended KHAIRUN\u2019s proactive approach. He noted that such collaboration reflects a strong institutional commitment to quality and excellence in engineering education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of the two-day engagement, the COREN team assessed key facilities and academic resources on ground. He offered commendations for the university\u2019s preparedness and vision. The committee also provided constructive recommendations which will further enhance the standard of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, expressed appreciation for COREN\u2019s support and reaffirmed the university\u2019s adherence to regulatory frameworks set by both NUC and COREN. He assured the delegation that all recommendations will be implemented promptly as part of KHAIRUN\u2019s resolve to deliver top-tier engineering education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
